Concord is 2-7 against NorthWood since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Concord Minutemen will be staying on the road to face off against the NorthWood Panthers at 7:45 p.m. on December 1st. Concord will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 312th, while NorthWood is ranked 103rd).
Last Saturday, Concord came up short against Fairfield and fell 47-34. Concord has not had much luck with Fairfield recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, NorthWood was beaten by Warsaw 66-29 on Tuesday.
NorthWood's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Claire Payne, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds, and Joselyn Edwards who scored 9 points. Another player making a difference was Kinzee Hartman, who scored 5 points.
Their wins bumped Concord to 1-5 and Fairfield to 6-1.
Concord lost to NorthWood on the road by a decisive 45-31 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Concord avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
