D'Evelyn won the last time they faced Alameda and things went their way on Friday too. The Jaguars took down the Pirates 31-14. The Jaguars pushed the score to 31-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pirates cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead D'Evelyn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Knox Balcer, who picked up 53 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Blake Faris also helped with two TDs in total.

D'Evelyn didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aaron Roberts and Faris. Faris got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory got D'Evelyn back to even at 3-3. As for Alameda, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

D'Evelyn didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lincoln on the 9th. As for Alameda, they have also already played their next matchup, a 48-0 victory against Mitchell on the 9th.
