While Troup might've come up empty on Friday, Taylor Gillispie wasn't going down without a fight. Gillispie made a splash, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. She was up against De Kalb and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them on Thursday.
