Hopewell-Loudon came out on top against Arcadia on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Chieftains were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Redskins. The Chieftains might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Hopewell-Loudon and bumps their season record up to 17-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Arcadia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Coming up, Hopewell-Loudon will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Danbury at 5:00 p.m. The Lakers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.9 runs per game on average), something the Chieftains will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Arcadia, they are taking a road trip to face off against Gibsonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Golden Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Redskins' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
