There's no place like home for Shallowater, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Idalou Wildcats a 7-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Shallowater has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. Idalou's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-5-1.
