The Seneca Golden Eagles had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.2 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They claimed a resounding 51-14 win over Allentown at home. Considering Seneca has won six contests by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Zac Fearon went supernova for Seneca, rushing for 121 yards and four touchdowns. Jamar Warthen was another key contributor, rushing for 91 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Seneca's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Kingston Williams and his two sacks.
Seneca's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points per game. As for Allentown, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.
Seneca will head out on the road to face off against Highland Regional at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Nehemiah Butler-mayhew and Fearon. Allentown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
