The Lowell Red Devils won the last time they faced the South Bend St. Joseph Indians, and things went their way on Saturday too. Lowell enjoyed a cozy 37-21 win over South Bend St. Joseph.
Elysia Laub was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kirstin Summers, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Lowell's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-9. As for South Bend St. Joseph, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
Lowell will be playing at home against Merrillville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Merrillville will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for South Bend St. Joseph, they will head out on the road to face off against Lighthouse College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
