Covington waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 48-30 victory over the Bartlett Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Owls: when they faced off against the Bulldogs last Thursday, they had to take a 37-36 loss.

Covington pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Bartlett, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covington and Milford will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bartlett will take on Johnson City in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
