On Friday, Allen faced Prosper in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Allen Eagles blew past the Prosper Eagles 75-46. Allen has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  matches by 21  points or more this season.
  Antonio Shannon was nothing short of spectacular: he  went 7 for 10  on his way to 18  points in addition to five  rebounds and four  steals. He is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Antoine Shannon, who  went 5 for 11  on his way to 14 points and seven  rebounds.
Allen's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.7 points. As for Prosper,  with the  loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Allen will welcome Andress  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Allen knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Andress likes a good challenge. As for Prosper, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Granbury  at 3:00  p.m. Prosper is facing Granbury at the right time seeing as Granbury is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
