The Big Horn Rams won the last time they faced the Tongue River Eagles, and things went their way on Saturday too. Big Horn managed a 52-46 win over Tongue River. The win made it back-to-back wins for Big Horn.
Big Horn was led to victory by Caleb Adsit and Caleb Gibson. Adsit dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Gibson scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Gibson has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Drew Heermann, who scored no points along with 11 rebounds.
Big Horn's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Tongue River, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Horn will challenge Kaycee at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Tongue River's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wright at 3:00 p.m. on January 20th.
