Burlingame had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-10 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Gunn Titans 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since March 27th.
Kiley Lyons made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
