Lakin and Beloit squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lakin had to settle for second. They took a hard 59-43 fall against the Beloit Trojans. The Broncs' loss signaled the end of their 20-game winning streak.

Eli Johnson was his usual excellent self, shooting 58% from the field on his way to 19 points and five rebounds for Beloit. The game was Johnson's third in a row with at least 19 points. Ryker Clark was another key player, putting up five points and nine boards.

Lakin's defeat dropped their record down to 22-2. As for Beloit, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.

As of now, neither Lakin nor Beloit have any future games scheduled.
