Lancaster has gone a perfect 10-0 against Eastside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the Lions at 3:15 p.m. Lancaster is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
Lancaster is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Quartz Hill on Thursday. They fell just short of the Royals by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

Sam Salas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Lancaster saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elsy Herrera, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eastside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Antelope Valley get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Thursday.
Luz Navarro made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Navarro was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Julia Green, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bethanie Jimenez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Eastside is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Lancaster, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lancaster hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .403. However, it's not like Eastside struggles in that department as they've averaged .478. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lancaster took their win against Eastside in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 8-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
