The Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They really took it to South Baldwin Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-3 win on the road. The team ran away with 29 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Holland Hamer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bethany Crumpler, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Gulf Pointe Latin pushed their record up to 6-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33 points. As for South Baldwin Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Gulf Pointe Latin will head out on the road to take on Baker at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Baldwin Christian Academy, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Lighthouse Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 18th. Lighthouse Baptist Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
