The El Camino Colts will take on the Design Tech Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Camino has given up an average of 13.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Friday just wasn't the day for El Camino's offense. They came up short against Half Moon Bay on Friday, falling 13-0. The Colts haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
El Camino saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juliana Bazlamit, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Design Tech never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Jefferson on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 22-1 margin over the Grizzlies. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Ella Lewis and Adelaide Chuang made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Lewis tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Meanwhile, Chuang pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At the plate, Lewis went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs, while Chuang went a perfect 5-for-5 with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most RBI Lewis has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Kendall Hom was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Sonia Teismann was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and one run.
Design Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .897. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jefferson only posted an OBP of .357.
The win got Design Tech back to even at 1-1. As for El Camino, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
