In what's become a running theme this season, the Withrow Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Aiken as Withrow made off with a 67-46 victory. Withrow pushed the score to 57-32 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.
Withrow got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyriana Berry out in front who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 20 rebounds. Berry is crushing the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Yaniah Arnold, who scored 19 points along with eight steals and six assists.
Withrow pushed their record up to 11-7 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.7 points. As for Aiken, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
Withrow will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Senators at 6:30 p.m. Taft has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 11. As for Aiken, they will head out on the road to square off against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
