Trezevant came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Phoenix 18-10. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Trezevant got a massive performance out of Devin Parker, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Those three runs gave Parker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rickey Wright, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with six stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Trezevant was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in four consecutive games.

Trezevant pushed their record up to 11-6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Trezevant will square off against KIPP Collegiate at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
