The Crisp County Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 100-5 win over Carver. That 95 points margin sets a new team best for Crisp County this season.
Leading Crisp County to victory were Zakariyya Dwight and Jaylon Cooper. Dwight dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Cooper scored 23 points along with six rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cooper has scored all season.
Jakobe Caslin and Tony Montgomery certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Caslin dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds, while Montgomery scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Montgomery hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Thomas, who scored six points along with two steals.
Crisp County's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Carver, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-1.
