Ponaganset extended their losing streak  to six  on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 5-15 in the process. They came up short against  the Westerly Bulldogs, falling  18-2.  Ponaganset saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Maia Salvo, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  run and one  double.
As for Westerly, they moved to 11-10 with that  win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 On Westerly's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Addison Poole, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, four  runs,  and five  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  Poole a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ella Keegan, who  went 3-for-4 with four  runs and two  RBI.
