West Ashley and Hanahan are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

West Ashley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Stall get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Wednesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Sammy Connor looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Henry Wood was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Josh Painter was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

West Ashley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stall only posted an OBP of .250.

Meanwhile, Hanahan got the win against Philip Simmons on Wednesday by a conclusive 10-2. Considering the Hawks have won five matchups by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hanahan is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for West Ashley, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.

West Ashley skirted past Hanahan 7-6 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
