Stella Eichhorn was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off one hit. Those 17 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Selena Timms, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynley Madden, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
