Leading Magruder to victory were Aiden Dabbondanza and Sekou Bangoura. Dabbondanza dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Bangoura scored 27 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gerald Suarez, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Richard Montgomery has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Magruder, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Richard Montgomery's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Blue Devils on February 9th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maryland (Springbrook is ranked 103rd, while the Rockets are ranked 97th). As for Magruder, they will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
