John Jay won the last time they faced Carmel and things went their way on Monday too. The John Jay Patriots were the clear victor by a 51-31 margin over the Carmel Rams. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Carmel still got an impressive performance from Kylie Murphy, who posted 20 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 64.5% of Carmel's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. Angelina Youngman also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

The win made it two in a row for John Jay and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Carmel, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
