It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Pendleton Heights Arabians had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They breezed by the Bearcats on the road to the tune of 56-20. Pendleton Heights has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.
Leading Pendleton Heights to victory were Adah Hupfer and Kaycie Warfel. Hupfer dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds, while Warfel scored 27 points along with four steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Warfel has scored at least a third of Pendleton Heights' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Baldwin, who scored seven points.
Pendleton Heights' victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Muncie Central, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-20 record this season.
Pendleton Heights will square off against the Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully New Palestine focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Wednesday. Muncie Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
