Everything went McCloud's way against Westwood on Friday as the team secured a 57-6 victory.
The contest started off well for McCloud, whose offense put up 50 first-half points. Westwood came up with 6 to make it 50-6 heading into the break. The McCloud defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match. The win bumped their record up to 3-0. The loss dropped Westwood back to even at 1-1.
McCloud will look to defend their home turf next week against Los Molinos at 5:00 PM. Los Molinos will need to watch out since McCloud have now posted big point totals in their last three contests. Westwood will stay at home against Mercy at 6:00 PM. Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
