The biggest upset of the week belonged to Glenbard North, who took down 30th ranked Central, 23-0.
Wheaton North extended the longest winning streak in DuPage Valley this week by beating Aurora West, 41-28. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Falcons.
Glenbard East's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Joe Kotch threw for 167 and one touchdown and Mike Kjeldson had 75 yards receiving. On the ground Kotch chipped in 31 yards. Dan Ryan helped Glenbard East's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 63 yards.
Glenbard East's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Rams feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kotch has thrown for 1301 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Malysha Flanders has 17 catches for 374 yards. Kotch also leads the league in rushing with 332 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Wheaton-Warrenville South takes on the Panthers. At the moment, the Tigers are in third, while Glenbard North is in second.
Wheaton-Warrenville South took down West Chicago 55-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
