After losing to the Cumby Trojans the last time they met, the Boles Hornets decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Boles secured a 36-30 W over the Trojans on Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boles to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaedence Robison, who scored 12 points along with six steals. Robison has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Helmberger, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Boles' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-17. As for Cumby, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-20.
Boles does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cumby will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m.
