Diamond Ranch extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 6-17. They came up short against the Don Lugo Conquistadors, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Conquistadors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-2 loss last Thursday.
Diamond Ranch saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khloe Malcolm 2027, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
As for Don Lugo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games.
On Don Lugo's side, Aubrey Liester made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave Liester a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Kaile Enriquez was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Leylah Ramirez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
As of now, neither Diamond Ranch nor Don Lugo have any future games scheduled.
