MacArthur barely beat McCollum the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Brahmas were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cowboys on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Brahmas, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

MacArthur's got stronger as the match went on, holding McCollum to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-11.

The victory made it two in a row for MacArthur and bumps their season record up to 15-11. As for McCollum, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. MacArthur is set to take on their familiar foe Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, McCollum will face off against rival Harlandale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
