Fort Calhoun came out on top against Bryan on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run first inning. The Pioneers blew past the Bears 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.
Levi Lasher looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
