After having lost a blowout in their previous game against King's Christian, the Bristol Warriors were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They secured a 45-40 W over Jenkintown. For Bristol, this counts as revenge for the 42-38 loss Jenkintown walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Despite the loss, Jenkintown still got an impressive performance from Tommy Walsh, who scored 23 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Walsh scored a full 57.5% of Jenkintown's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Mason Steuber, who scored 7 points.
Bristol now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Jenkintown, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Bristol will head out on the road to face off against Plumstead Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jenkintown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
