The Jefferson County Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Aucilla Christian Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
The matchup between Jefferson County and the Bobcats on Friday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. Jefferson County took a serious blow against the Bobcats, falling 96-59. While losing is never fun, Jefferson County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 752nd, while the Bobcats are ranked 264th).
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Aucilla Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Redeemer Christian. Aucilla Christian has not had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Ethan Bass put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 20 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Eli Conrad, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Jefferson County has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season. As for Aucilla Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
