The Central Heights Vikings made easy work of the Pleasanton Blu-Jays on Monday and carried off an 11-1 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Kreig Garrett was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles.

In other batting news, Ethan Kraft was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted over his last ten games. Aydan Dunbar was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Central Heights was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pleasanton only posted a batting average of .174.

Central Heights' victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Pleasanton, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Central Heights beat the Blu-Jays by a score of 16-6 later that day.
