Softball Recap: Bishop Gorman Sets Scoring Season-High Against Cimarron-Memorial

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Gorman). They never let the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory on Monday. The Gaels haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

GIANNA HORNYAK looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Bishop Gorman got a massive performance out of SOPHIA KIRKPATRICK, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave KIRKPATRICK a new career-high. CHARLIE SIMI was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.

Bishop Gorman's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Cimarron-Memorial, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5.
