Despite their defeat, Bureau Valley saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. The Red Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.
Monmouth United's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Bureau Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-18.
