The Manti Templars scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. They came out on top against North Sanpete by a score of  59-49. The  win was just what Manti needed coming off of a  73-44 loss in their prior  contest.
 Manti's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Cadee Alder, who  scored 15 points along with six  rebounds and four  steals. Another player making a difference was  Brooklyn Olson, who  scored 11 points along with five  rebounds and five  steals.
 Manti's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for North Sanpete, their loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  bumped their record down to 6-9.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manti won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Maple Mountain at 6:00  p.m.  on January 12th. Maple Mountain presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Manti in Utah (Maple Mountain is ranked 28th, while Manti is ranked 86th). As for North Sanpete, they will be playing at home against Emery at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Emery's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last three games.
