Given Cumberland Valley's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Williamsport is ranked 433rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cumberland Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JJ Lebo, who scored 22 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lebo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Creston Austin, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds.
Cumberland Valley's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Williamsport, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-6 record last season and are now at 3-8.
Cumberland Valley will head out on the road to face off against Carlisle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Williamsport, they will take on Samuel Fels at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
