The Pana Panthers won the last time they faced the Staunton/Bunker Hill Bulldogs, and things went their way on Friday too. Pana snuck past Staunton/Bunker Hill with a 19-13 victory.
Pana can attribute much of their success to Wyatt Kile, who threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns. Pana also got help from Jamarion Cobbins who showed off his sure hands for 83 receiving yards.
Pana's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Staunton/Bunker Hill, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Pana will head out on the road to face off against Nashville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nashville will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Staunton/Bunker Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
