Even though the Stratford Knights scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, the First Baptist School Hurricanes still came out on top. First Baptist School came out on top in a nail-biter against Stratford and snuck past 64-62.
Stratford's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zanquel Baldwin, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nizhier Baldwin, who scored 14 points.
First Baptist School's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Stratford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
First Baptist School will be playing at home against Cane Bay at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Stratford, they will head out on the road to face off against Timberland at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Timberland comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
