Westside suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2024 on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Seminole Seminoles and fell 82-48. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Westside's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaylen Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gary Hyde, who posted 11 points.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Seminole, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Westside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-54 loss against Bishop Kenny on the 7th. As for Seminole, they will face off against St. Cloud at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seminole will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
