The Capital Prep Harbor Sharks entered their tilt with the Harvey Cavaliers with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Capital Prep Harbor came out on top in a nail-biter against Harvey on Friday and snuck past 50-48. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Capital Prep Harbor has scored all year.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Capital Prep Harbor to victory, but perhaps none more so than Edward Williams, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Williams is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Henderson, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Capital Prep Harbor's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Harvey, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Capital Prep Harbor will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Varsity Opponent at 1:30 p.m. on January 13th. Varsity Opponent has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 11. Harvey will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Forman at 4:30 p.m. on January 24th.
