On Friday Ludlow take on Amherst-Pelham Regional at 7:00 PM. Both teams are strolling into their match after big wins in their previous games.
Everything went Ludlow's way against Monument Mountain/Mt. Everett last Friday as the team secured a 47-0 victory. The success represented a nice turnaround for Ludlow, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-39 defeat.
Amherst-Pelham Regional had a rough outing against Northampton/Hopkins Academy two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Amherst-Pelham Regional blew past Belchertown 22-0. Amherst-Pelham Regional were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-1. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
