The Colorado Springs School Kodiaks will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Pikes Peak Christian Eagles at 8:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Colorado Springs School gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against Platte Canyon by a score of 41-31.
Meanwhile, Pikes Peak Christian made easy work of Miami-Yoder on Saturday and carried off a 56-36 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-8.
Among those leading the charge was Eddie Harmon, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Pikes Peak Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Wehner, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Colorado Springs School's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Pikes Peak Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Everything came up roses for Colorado Springs School against Pikes Peak Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 74-45 victory.
