It was a good run, but the Bonney Lake Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. The matchup between Bonney Lake and Monroe wasn't particularly close, with Bonney Lake falling 41-24. Bonney Lake was down 34-10 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Among those leading the charge was Gavin Ranz, who rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Matthew Rodriguez also helped out with an impressive 101 receiving yards.
Bonney Lake's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Monroe, they have yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 9-1 record.
Bonney Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Monroe will head out on the road to face off against Bellevue at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bellevue has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 360 points over their last eight contests.
