Despite the loss, Manteo saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zay Banks went 11 for 22 on his way to 26 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Those 26 points gave Banks a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai McGilberry, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.
