Shannon has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Walnut Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shannon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Walnut likes a good challenge.
Even though Potts Camp scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, Shannon still came out on top. Shannon managed a 66-62 win over Potts Camp.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Walnut's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a hard 57-41 fall against Middleton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Walnut has scored all season.
Shannon has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Walnut, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
