David Crockett won the last time they faced Tennessee and things went their way on Friday too. The David Crockett Pioneers blew past the Tennessee Vikings, posting a 68-33 victory. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Brylee Tullock continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 of 14 en route to 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Story, who posted eight points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks.
David Crockett was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tennessee only racked up five assists.
Despite the defeat, Tennessee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addie Wilhoit earned ten points. What's more, Wilhoit also racked up four boards, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Jasmine Jones was another key player, putting up five points and six rebounds.
