Vision hasn't had much luck against Melba recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Vision will be playing in front of their home fans against Melba at 5:00 p.m. Vision will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Vision lost 22-15 to Marsing on Monday. Even though they lost, Vision's still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Dylan Warth and Payton Williams stepped up to the plate in a big way. Warth went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs, while Williams got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Williams has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
Meanwhile, Melba came tearing into Monday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Pilgrims as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Mustangs have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Colter Bodily was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Kelton Bodily was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was CJ Husted, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Melba hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.
Melba's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Vision, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Vision has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .445. However, it's not like Melba struggles in that department as they've averaged .508. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Vision might still be hurting after the 20-0 defeat they got from Melba in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Will Vision have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
