Village Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 32nd straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 75-44 loss at the hands of the Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy Gladiators. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Christian Booker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy, dropping a triple-double on 22 points, ten assists, and 11 steals. Booker is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hershell Reynolds, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Village Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.

Village Academy and Grandview Prep will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy, they will square off against Somerset Academy - Canyons at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Somerset Academy - Canyons knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy likes a good challenge.
