The Richmond-Burton Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their eighth straight defeat. They fell 43-33 to Plano. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Richmond-Burton of the 46-33 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Josie Larson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Plano, scoring 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Larson has scored at least a third of Plano's points. Another player making a difference was Aleksa Martinez, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Richmond-Burton has been struggling recently as they've lost 19 of their last 20 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-25 record this season. As for Plano, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-16.
Richmond-Burton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Plano also has no future games currently scheduled.
